Weary Arms And Wobbly Legs

MoD reader Raven Taalon submitted this idea for how to hobble your TOA. Basically, all you do is replace the small gears connected to the arms with the ‘T’-joints that are used to attach the left arm on TAHU and KOPAKA. When compared to my original idea, this one has two drawbacks. One, you’re less likely to have enough of the right parts, and two, it has a more restricted range of poses. On the plus-side, it allows the shoulders to be perfectly vertical or horizontal and it’s less obtrusive than a #3 plus-rod sticking out of the shoulder area. Or in my case, it would free up fourteen #2 plus-rods, between the six TOA KINO and KAIKOKOTI.
