A dark plot brews in the underbelly of Spherus Magna, as a threat long thought defeated prepares to strike back. In the center of this twisted web sit Ahkmou and Gavla, two pawns for a shadowy purpose. Will the Matoran free themselves from the clutches of their new master? Or will their dark sides prevail?

The Shadows We Cast serves as a sequel to Runners, following Ahkmou, Gavla, and Roodaka in the wake of their escape. The Shadows We Cast and Ashes of the Arena will be the new story releases for the coming months, alternating chapters on Sundays. Read the prologue now on Myths and Legacy!

  1. I mean, you guys make good writing (though I am not fond of Gavla being a troublemaker because she is an Av-Matoran, and Av-Matoran don’t become corrupt on her own), but just in case you guys run out of ideas.

    • That’s fine to have your opinion, but that’s not the direction we’re going in. Gavla expresses discomfort as an Av-Matoran even after being cured, which inspired the arc here and in Runners.

  2. You guys still doing those stories? Okay. Well, I don’t mean to offend people (sorry if I did), but have you guys thought of:
    1. Do reboots of your stories in the future, maybe?
    2. Have you thought about adding Hero Factory characters and G1 counterparts to Bionicle G2?
    3. Have you tried submitting the stories to the Lego Company, maybe? There is the Lego World Builder, where there are possibilities of stories being published, like how one of those Ninjago shorts happened.

    I’m just asking.
