I’ve been catching up on submissions to the website now that the dust has settled from my 810 project! First off, BIONICLE Heroes has made it as the final ‘marquee’ media piece from BIONICLE’s history to transition to the new site. Check out the page here! There wasn’t too much new to add for this game, but we do have some nice additions:

1. A quality pass on the intro FMVs. The Xbox 360 version of the Eidos/TT logo animation is the best quality on all fronts, so we’ve switched to a clean rip of that. We have multiple options for the story intro, so you can pick your poison: 360 has the highest res/clearest picture, but there’s some weird framerate/blending thing that makes it look choppy. The PC version has a good framerate, but is lower resolution. Finally, the Wii/PS2 proto version is inferior on both fronts, but it’s a slightly different cut where Balta has some extra opening lines! Thanks to Medium bluish violet Marker on Discord for sending these in.
2. Updated soundtrack! Ian Livingstone kindly shared his original files and we’ve got them available for download, plus some extras to fill in the blanks.

I’ve also added a page for the GBA version of BIONICLE The Game. This means another OST addition straight from the composer, Bart Roijmans, this time via a video he posted. The download also includes XM tracker modules for the final tracks in the published game. Thanks to TheFlufflePuffer on Discord for bringing the video to our attention.

In the movie corner, we’ve got Region 3 DVDs of Legends of Metru Nui and Web of Shadows, courtesy of Acroute on Discord. The language options between these two, dub and sub, include Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Cantonese, and simplified Chinese. There’s also a few more scans of various regions packaging:

• Mask of Light: Region 1/North America (FACS01 on Discord). Including the booklet included in many copies! Also Region 3/South Korea via Piruk!
• Legends of Metru Nui: Region 1/North America (FACS01 on Discord)
• Web of Shadows: Region 1+4/Central & South America, Region 2 Spain & Portugal (FACS01 on Discord)
• The Legend Reborn: Region 4/Brazil (FACS01 on Discord)

ToaKebaka has also sent in some more book scans. This round, we have Glatorian III in Portuguese, Glatorian V in Polish… and our first copy of Glatorian VI, also in Polish! With this, we now have at least one version of every book in the Glatorian set. Wahoo!

The last thing this week, Lei pointed out that a single loop used in the Battle for Power is actually a sample of Gravity Hurts that doesn’t appear in the song itself. To be comprehensive, I’ve added it to the Gravity Hurts page.
