Here comes Santa Claus with his christmas tree blade! This year, he’s gonna start crossing names off his naughty list! This is a christmas themed rework of Scarlet Sensei (who is also a big bearded man wearing red lol). The christmas tree sword and holly shield are heavy so he’s pretty hard to pose. Hope your holidays are merry and bright!

I was looking for something Christmas themed to feature this week, when I found JayKu’s Santa Clause MOC. The brick built head and details blend in almost seamlessly with the CCBS body, and the colorscheme is just about perfect. The tree sword is an incredibly fun design too. I don’t want to spoil the rest of Santa’s photos by posting them all here, so check out the rest here if you want to see more and help JayKyu Builds get the traffic his Flickr account deserves. His other MOCs are well worth checking out too, mostly featuring CCBS mixed with brick-built details, though he also has some fun system MOCs.

On the subject of constructive criticism, I’m not sure I like the choice of silver armor. The shape looks good, though I think the silver on the legs would look better in black, making it look like he was wearing taller boots. Additionally, the shield’s square design reminds me of a sled, I wonder if rethinking the design and adding skis/runners would make it match the theme better?
