Market Watch: Retail Store Lenticular Display Card

Here’s a store display card in pretty good condition for $149 USD before shipping. I’m not sure it’s rare enough to justify the price of 150 bucks for what is essentially cardboard and plastic, especially when you can sometimes get big light up displays for that price. If you assume each Target store received one of these, as many as 2000 of these may be lying around in storage. Other theoretically rarer collectibles like the Sterling Silver Krana Kal (no more than 100 are believed to exist) have sold for the same price.

If you can justify the price, it looks like a nice display piece to seal up between a couple sheets of acrylic to hang on a wall. It even has a “Lenticular” illusion that gives you a different image depending on your viewing angle.
