Greg Farshtey, the worlds most circulated comic writer and author of the BIONICLE® Adventures childrens series from Scholastic Books, will appear for a reading and signing of his new book, BIONICLE Adventures #3: The Darkness Below , as well as entertain questions on the book and the BIONICLE universe.
Farshtey, a Connecticut native and Enfield-based LEGO Systems employee, is the principal writer for BIONICLE one of the worlds most popular toy lines for boys knowing more about the property than anyone else.
Farshtey is a household name with the nearly 86% of American boys ages 6 to 11 who know of BIONICLE. An astonishing 50% of them own and interact with the products.
The BIONICLE story, launched on the Web in December 2000, is the main driver of the BIONICLE universe, developing in limited edition DC Comics and Scholastic book series, written by Farshtey, as well as in Miramax/Buena Vista video/DVD premieres one released last fall, the other scheduled to launch this October.
