First off, I visited with store manager at the Toys “R” Us nearest me today. She told me they that not all stores are participating in all BIONICLE™ programs.
This store and others around the country started giving out BIONICLE™ mask posters with the purchase of anything from the BIONICLE™ line. It was mentioned to me that they had put out their promotion items early and that most stores would be waiting until August 5.
On the bottom of the poster was an announcement that they would be giving away the BIONICLE™ Copper Mask of Victory on September 8, 2001, while supplies last.
I also also noted a six foot high BIONICLE™ TAHU standee that listed several BIONICLE™ events coming up.
It was titled Live The Legend At Toys ‘R’ Us
August 5 – Learn the mysteries of the Kanohi masks.
September 2 – Search For The Secrets Of The MATA NUI
October 19 – Battle Of The BIONICLE™ Beasts
The store manager didn’t have any details on these events, but we’ll find out and post the news here as soon as we can.
