BIONICLE® CD-ROM Month spills over into June with a CD that is not remarkable for its content, but instead for where it was found. This Mini CD-ROM (Item #4157267) is identical in content to the full-size German CD-ROM featured yesterday, right down to the “ident” file of “Bionicle Promotion CD, 1.00, International.” As far as I know, the only place to find it was in Merlin‘s 2001 F. A. Premier League Official Sticker Collection book in the United Kingdom.
BIONICLE was co-sponsoring Merlin’s 2001 “Swop Shop Tour”.
The CD is found on the inside of the back cover above some explanatory text and opposite the familiar “Find the Power” image. Note the modified “double-B” BIONICLE logo in the lower right which says “Arriving Feb 1st 2001”.

Um… What was the first CD to be distributed?
I believe the first CD to be distributed was the Mini CD included in the invitation to the 2001 Toy Fair.
