Bob Thompson was the Head of Character & Story development for LEGO Media International at the time BIONICLE was first conceived, through early 2005. During that time, he was a driving force behind the shape and direction of the BIONICLE story.

In this discussion, Bob speaks about his professional background, his approach to telling a multimedia story when that was still a newer concept, and about some of the lingering mysteries from the BIONICLE stories he told.
