In
Stores Only, Free Monty Mole Expansion With LEGO Super Mario Starter Kit
Posted by Richard
on August 1, 2020 at 10:25 PM CST:
If your local LEGO® Store has reopened, and you feel like taking your chances with the corona virus still running around, then
buying a LEGO Super Mario starter kit will include a free "Monty Mole & Super Mushroom Expansion Set". It appears far more
substantial than the Super Mushroom Surprise offered to online buyers. This deal also runs until the 8th of August. If I didn't
know better I'd say Nintendo was trying to emulate a pre-order bonus war. Forum link | |
70 Percent Off LEGO Games On Nintendo
Eshop

It looks like most if not all of the LEGO® themed games have been marked down by 70%. The only DLC I see on sale is The LEGO
Marvel Super Heroes 2 Season Pass, marked down to $5.99. If you don't have LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 or the DLC, the Deluxe
Edition will save you almost .50 cents USD more compared to adding them to your cart individually. The sale appears to end on the
27th of July. Forum

The Largest LEGO Mario Expansion
Set Is 229.99 USD

Surely by now you've seen the LEGO® Nintendo Entertainment System. However, you may not have known that it also interacts with the upcoming
electronic LEGO Mario figure. If you look through the additional pictures for this pricey set, you will see a perch for LEGO Mario
to sit on top of the TV while his 8 bit LEGO counterpart runs through his hand cranked 2D course. If you look at the partially
constructed TV and screen, you will see several tiles on top of the "screen". These are some of the interactive plates that the
LEGO Mario figure is engineered to detect and react to. They are positioned so that the electronic Mario lights up and reacts in
sync to the goombas and powerups that the 8 bit Mario hops over. Forum link. | |
The LEGO Group Launches Brick
Sketches Theme

While everything made with the LEGO® brick can be considered art, The LEGO Group is once again trying to appeal directly to art
buyers. Now available for 19.99 USD, Shop.LEGO.com is now selling four "Brick Sketches". The brick-built sketches are of Joker, Batman, BB-8 and a first order storm
trooper. They seem a little pricey to me, but the growing number of brick paintings seen at LEGO fan conventions is a good sign
they will sell well. Forum link.
