Mask of Light Multi-language & More

Here’s a round-up update of new materials that have been sent in recently:

  • MKV file that combines all the language options we have preserved for Mask of Light up to now. This includes subtitles and dubs, as well as all the relevant tracks for the Director’s Commentary and Wall of History annotations! This would’ve taken much longer to appear if Mxyl hadn’t put this together – so big thanks to them for this contribution! Download it from the Mask of Light page.
  • A few print ads for the Quest for the Mask trading card game have been added to the QFTM page! These were located by Coby Cat, who contributed more findings that will be added in the future.
  • Adding to our collection of Ameet books, we now have a version of Barraki II. It’s the Hungarian release, scanned by Toa Feliax!
  • Also found by Coby Cat, the German release of Comic 2 – it’s a shortened version of the issue published within the LEGO magazine of the time, similar to several 2002 issues.
  • Some Betacam copies of the Toa Metru commercials in Russian! These appear to have some odd upscaling applied, but they’re still pretty good quality. They were brought to our attention by TamarUp, and originally uploaded to YouTube by Vidachestvo Archive.

  1. Huuuh? I was curious how you would handle the German audio track, considering that the German version of the movie has been cut down (to remove “scary” scenes) and shortened by several minutes. But I see you actually have a complete uncut version of the audio track which I have never heard before! Where did that come from? This is amazing!!

    I am still fighting to get the full file downloaded with my slow and unstable internet connection, but I’m looking forward to rewatching the entire thing again! =)

  2. Hi, there. I have questions:
    1. Do you guys have all four Bionicle movies yet (as in English)? What about the DVD extras from these DVDs, too?
    2. According to your other article: https://www.maskofdestiny.com/news/bmp-backlog-ameet-books, you said that you are lacking these two AMEET books, Barraki II and Glatorian VI. Was the Hungarian version of Barraki II in this article the one you’re talking about, or do you want more versions? Don’t forget those two Hero Factory AMEET books. Sorry for asking pressuring questions, but still. Take your time.

      1. The movie pages are a big undertaking so I haven’t finished the Web of Shadows and Legend Reborn ones yet. You can still access the movies through BMP, though, you just need to go to the old site for Web of Shadows.

      2. Yes, I was mostly hoping for any language version of the books! Though of course we will gladly add other language versions beyond just one, if people send them in.
