A Look At The LEGO Movie "Everything Is Awesome" Edition
Posted by Richard on June 29, 2014 at 12:40 PM CST:
This is not a formal review of the movie, but a quick look at the contents of the collectors edition. It includes the Blu Ray, 3D Blu Ray, DVD, and Ultraviolet Digital Copy, along with a 3D Emmet "Photo", and Young Vituvius Minifigure.

The cardboard stand that some stores are using to place the movie in prominent locations. I think Emmet is screaming because his arm is missing or something.

The front, back, and side of the clear case holding the movie and it's contents.

The 3D Emmet Photo. The front is made of a fairly sturdy plastic, but unfortunately the back is lined with perforated cardboard that forms a stand. Personally, I would either have molded technic connectors into the plastic and included rods to prop it up, or I would have designed the cardboard to be a separate stand you rested the collectible on.

The Young Vitruvius Minifigure. Without the glowing eyes he's just not as memorable, but this is probably the main thing driving the collectors edition sale. Please note, Vitruvious is not a vampire, his cape on the other hand is so sparkly I cant discount the possibility it once belonged to one.
