Whew!
Posted by Purple_Dave on July 13, 2002 at 10:51 PM CST:
Today we bring you the
Top Ten Ways to Know You Have Too Many EXO-TOA.

10. After you've built them all you suddenly realize you don't have anywhere to display them.

9. You realize you might actually own over half of the sets in your city.

8. The last one you built took less than half the time that the first one took to build.

7. You find yourself making a Top Ten list about having too many EXO-TOA.

6. You do so by listing only things that apply to you.

5. You delay opening a new set for at least a day because you don't feel like building another EXO-TOA today.

4. You've had to buy them at three different stores because no single store has stocked them in sufficient quantities yet.

3. You find yourself buying a new one because you came up with yet another idea on how to tweak the design.

2. You have seven EXO-TOA when there are only six TOA to use them.

And the #1 way to know you have too many EXO-TOA sets...

1. You can finally build them without using the instructions.

Well, okay, I didn't quite get the last EXO-TOA built correctly without using the instructions, or coming within five feet of any of the EXO-TOA that I'd already built. I mounted the rubberband to the wrong side of the head, though I did still get the tow-balls in the right holes. But everything else was correct. Anyways, the point of all of this was to say that I've finally figured out a unique modification for every EXO-TOA, as can be seen below.

My goal was to make a uniquely tailored EXO-TOA for each of the six TOA, while still maintaining the integrity of the original design as much as possible. Since the EXO-TOA were presumably destroyed in the same event that produced the TOA NUVA, my modifications were designed specifically for the original TOA, though I expect the TOA NUVA would all still fit within their respective EXO-TOA.

EXO-POHATU has already been showcased, but I'll be covering the rest of them throughout the next couple weeks.
