So, I stopped by my local Meijer to pick up a 2-liter of Barq’s for next week, since I was headed to put in some overtime anyways, and I made my requisite romp through the toy aisle. Nothing new. At least, that’s what it looked like. Then I looked up. Two. Dozen. 6-unit. Grav-tubes. On the second shelf from the top. Seems some foolish stock-clerk stuck 144 BOHROK VA out of reach of anyone standing less than six and a half feet, and they’re the only ones in town right now. They could sell out of those in a day or two if they hadn’t hidden them out of reach, but they’ve already stuffed the shelves and whoever opened the cases probably figured it would be easier to wait for the other stock to shrink a bit.

Anyways, I snagged 15 of them (1 GAHLOK, 2 KOHRAK, and 3 each of the rest, mostly for the feet…) with the help of a toy-aisle clerk, and was on my merry way. If you’re trying to find these, they are shipping in 6-unit grav-tubes, just like the ones TRU was selling the TURAGA out of, but these ones are made out of the same material as the actual packaging. Also, there are no larger views of the BOHROK VA combiners, so I can’t say if I’ll be able to decipher their construction. Here’s hoping they show up on the official website…
