NCLUG May The 4th Mini Display

NCLUG’s Duncan put this display together after a request from the B.J.’s Optical center near the Triangle Town Center mall. The optical center was having a big sale which happened to coincide with “May The 4th”, so the manager took the liberty of making the sale Star Wars themed.

On it’s surface, it doesn’t look like much of a display, but when you take a closer look, you can see a number of interesting details, like the Stormtrooper with the anti-saber baton.

The display case Duncan used is almost as interesting to me as the MOC inside. Its a small ten inch case he purchased from Ikea, and the base has a lighting element inside, which illuminates the fire effects of the MOC. The lighting in the store makes it hard to see though. I believe he paid $20 or $30 USD for the case, which doesn’t seem like a bad deal to me.
