LEGOLAND® California
Posted by Purple_Dave on July 21, 2001 at 08:56 AM CST:
Aside from all the shows and rides, the biggest reason to try to get to LEGOLAND@ California is the exclusive trans-green MIRU MASK, which an only be obtained by completing a treasture quest. Upon entering the park, you receive a treasure map for the BIONICLE™ TRIBAL TREASURE HUNT. Finding six special MASKS hidden throughout the park will provide you with the information you need to fill out the map. Once the map is filled out, delivering it to the LEGO® Maniac Clubhouse will earn you this rare MASK variation.

Also upon entry of the park, you get a free pack of BIONICLE™ trading cards that is also exclusive to the park, which contains a limited edition foil-stamped LEWA card. These packs are only available through September 3, so plan your trip accordingly.

In addition to being the place you can receive your trans-green MIRU MASK, the LEGO® Maniac Clubhouse has a special presentation in Brickology called CLUBHOUSE CLICK AND BUILD. There you can learn special tricks that the LEGO® Master Model Builders use in their creations, and you will be shown how to build a special BIONICLE™ MASK.

One of the special shows is the BIONICLE™ TRIBAL TREK which runs at 5, 6, and 7pm every night.

For an additional charge, you can attend a special BIONICLE™ TRIBAL DINNER from 6-8pm. Included in the event is the opportunity to build your very own LEGO® model as instructed by LEGO® Master Model Builders. Seating is very limited and reservations are recommended. You can make them by calling (760) 918-KIDS.

The last show of the evening is the BIONICLE™ TRIBAL JAM which kicks off at 8:15pm. 15 performers will put on a show of epic proportions, as they challenge the evil MAKUTA and save the island of MATA NUI.

Park hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day through September 3. Additional information can be obtained by calling (760) 918-LEGO or logging on to LEGOLAND.COM
