LEGO® Club Update

Kopaka Toa of Ice posted a message on BZC stating that the online LEGO® Club has had a major BIONICLE™ models have been posted in the BUILD IT section. One is the INFERNAVIKA, a small bird built using a TAHNOK VA and PAHRAK VA, and the other is the GHEKULA, a frog built using a GAHLOK, and LEHVAK. ( UPDATE: I looked through the GHEKULA instructions, and after counting pieces, I have determined that you do not need a TAHNOK to build it, contrary to what it says on LEGO.com) You have to be signed in as a LEGO® Club member to access those pages, but membership is free, so there’s really no point in not joining.

UPDATE: I did notice that while the main BUILD IT page has the correct description for the GHEKULA model, the actual instructions have the description for the INFERNAVIKA with the word ‘bird’ replaced by ‘frog’. I was rather confused as to why a blue/green frog would live in the TA-KORONAN lava-fields, but apparently it lives in the LE-KORONAN swamps, which makes perfect sense. Also, in Step 6 , it looks like you are supposed to add a #3 plus-rod and a #6 plus-rod, but from what I can tell, there are no new pieces shown, and the plus-rods that are tagged are added in Step 4 and Step 5 .

You can also customize your online minifig icon, but they still don’t have any BIONICLE™ options. Anyways, I’ve got to go out and buy two more BOHROK now…
