I’ve seen news of Google doing some sort of online brick building program, but I didn’t realize it was an official joint project with LEGO® Digital Designer until Matoro from our forums posted a MOC he made with it . Too bad there seems to be a part limitation, but that’s probably so The LEGO® Company can eventually let any user with a good web browser design and buy their own sets without sucking down all of Google’s processing power and bandwidth. It would be interesting to see and manipulate larger MOCs if they rolled out a fully featured LDD browser.
