I just got word today from Sabre at LEGO® Consumer Affairs that there are no costumes shipping this year. They’ve apparently had quite a few people ask about them, but they don’t currently make any Halloween costumes.

Between how fast the popularity of BIONICLE™ has taken off, and the fact that they’ve never done any costumes before, they probably never considered this possibility. It’s possible that they will look into doing them for next year, but don’t hold your breath.

Speaking of Halloween, I’ve been tinkering with a very special appropriately themed MOC that I will be posting on October 31st. It even weirds me out a little bit, and I’m the one who built it. I’m not entirely done messing around with the design, but I’ve got three weeks to get it finalized.
