A while ago I announced that the Toy Industry Association would be announcing the winners of the Toy Of The Year awards. Yesterday they posted the results .

BIONICLE™ won the awards for “Boy Toy of the Year” and “Most Innovative Toy of the Year” but lost “Best Marketing Campaign of the Year” to Toys’R’Us. Additionally, LEGO® walked away with the award for “Best Activity Toy of the Year” with their Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle set, though the Harry Potter line lost the “Best Licensed Toy of the Year” award to Hasbro.
