| January 19, 2008 | Mutran & Vican Richard: Previously on back order in the U.S., Mutran & Vican is once again available, earlier than the originally estimated return date of February. While I'm waiting for mine to arrive you may be interested in BZPower's review. |
| December 15, 2007 | Barraki Sales Spotted Richard: Shannon Scheller passed us this sale notice; "Just wanted to let you know that the latest flyer I got for Toys R’ Us here in Atlanta, GA has Barraki sets marked 50% off ($4.99 here). I believe this is for the whole next week, unlike the previous flyer that listed a Barraki sale of “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” that was only in effect Friday & Saturday (Dec 14th & 15th). This newer sale is slightly better if you need any odd number quantities of Barraki sets. Either way, now is a good time for those who need to complete their collection to pick up these" |
| December 13, 2007 | PHANTOKA Availabilities Update! Richard: Dhruv Karunakaran and Andrew House directed me to the PHANTOKA and MATORAN sets now listed on LEGO® S@H, while Daikunus reports nabbing six of the matoran, six of the cannister sets, and Toa Ignika at the LEGO® store in Tysons Corner in Alexandria, Virginia. Ive got mine shipping through the same store to validate this, and my thanks goes to the very patient and helpful employees of this store who gave me a hand. |
| September 2, 2007 | Missing Lesovikk Part Identified? Richard: A few of us have wondered what the missing part(s) might be that left us with the set being recalled and back ordered for quite a while, and it seems despite the set being recalled to fix this, that my set which arrived by mail the other day only had one of the two wheels that held the propeller blades in place, identified as part number 4299119 in the back of Lesovikk's manual, or the wheels that were used to create Umbra's "roller skate" feet. This part being uncommon to BIONICLE® sets, you may want to wait a bit longer to order or buy Lesovikk or be prepared for the risk of finding yourself with this missing part, but if you know a cheap set with the part or know about OTHER missing parts from the set, please let us know. If all else fails the LEGO® company will gladly replace the missing parts if you go through their customer service at www.LEGO.com, Forum link |
| July 23, 2007 | BZPower Commemorative Brick Sale Richard: Chances are you already know about this if you go to BZPower quite often, they are selling 150 commemorative bricks that have been engraved with the site's name. It's limit 2 per person, $5.00 USD with $2.00 USD for shipping costs. The bricks seem to be 6 studs long, so Brickfest atendees will find they can build it into thier name badge, with enough space to add a port for a mask or something at the end with the two stud long empty space. I already have some engraved bricks similar to this, assuming the same quality is in place these should be very sturdy. Only 150 will be sold and I happen to know there are fewer than 148 left ;) ...I should point out these are not a LEGO® promotional but a promotional made from a LEGO product, just to prevent confusion. |
