LEGOŽ Dimensions Fantastic Beasts Story Pack
Posted by Richard on August 28, 2016 at 09:22 PM CST:
A quick clarification on the Story Packs; I reported what I thought was a Ghostbusters themed starter set for LEGO Dimensions. It appears I was mistaken and these $49.99 USD story packs do not include the required portal and disc to play. They are really just $30.00 figure packs that come with a $20.00 playset that pops onto the portal. That said, heres another Story Pack, this one featuring the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off. A new patch has been released for LEGO® worlds, this one fixing a number of problems and adding a few tweaks. It appears some other issues need to be fixed (Beware The CARROT OF DOOM), but they report everyone has access to the up-to-date version of the game now. Forum link.
New LEGOŽ Dimensions Starter Pack, Older Versions On Sale

I just spotted what looks like a Ghostbusters themed starter pack, including the disc, NFC station, and parts to build a Ghostbusters themed "portal" over on seems to have the best prices on older starter kits, with versions for the latest consoles running at $44.99 USD on sale at the time of writing. LEGOŽ Worlds Update 5 Is Live
Posted by Richard on March 30, 2016 at 09:16 PM CST:
The early access game LEGO® Worlds just received another "major" update via the Steam platform. This update mostly covers improvements to the interface to make things more accessible to players. I haven't touched it in a while, but the interface was one of my complaints. Another nice touch is Dual Shock 4 support via USB connection (Its had Xbox controller support for a while now apparently). You can see the list of changes here. Forum link.

Walmart Discounts LEGOŽ Dimensions Packs
Posted by Richard on February 9, 2016 at 10:05 PM CST:
On my last trip to Walmart, my local store had some decent discounts on the LEGO® Dimensions figure packs. It would be best to consult this picture I snapped to get an idea of the prices in USD. Please be aware that some boxes may not have been under the right sign because of kids doing what kids do to toys on store shelves. The base game was also discounted down to $79.99. Considering Disney infinity and Skylanders starter kits regularly get discounted more than 30 bucks on their most recent editions, I would suggest waiting for at least 40 bucks off on Dimensions.
