Bricktalk: San Diego VAKAMA-Con
Purple_Dave: If you're attending the 2004 San Diego Comic-Con (July 22-25), make sure you stop by booth #1829. This'll be your chance to get the first BIONICLE convention exclusive. 5000 copies of VAKAMA will be available for purchase with an exclusive KANOKA featuring the SDCC logo (no word yet if there will be a KANOKA Code on the disk, or if it'll be a 0-point disk like the trans-red one VAKAMA normally comes with). Free KANOKA Cards and KANOKA will be handed out with every purchase.

Additionally, Greg Farshtey, famed writer of the entire BIONICLE comic series, will be there signing copies of comics, and from 2:30-4:30pm on Saturday, July 24th, Randy Elliott (BIONICLE comic inker/co-inker for the entire series, and penciller since issue #9) will be at the booth as well.

Finally, on Sunday, July 25th, don't miss out on the sneak peek of BIONICLE 2: LEGENDS OF METRU NUI, complete with panel discussion.

And for those who are also Star Wars fans, you should swing by the Lucas Pavillion (booth #2813) to see a lifesize brick-built Darth Vader statue and register for a chance to win a LEGO Millennium Falcon set, get a free copy of the mini TIE Fighter set, and see an SDCC exclusive sneak preview of an upcoming Star Wars LEGO set.

Information about SDCC and ticket prices can be found here.
