The new AT offerings would make James Bond jealous, with how many of them transform shapes to help team members complete their missions, some of which involves chasing down “ice orbs” that contain messages and glyphs that can be seen with the help of some red lenses. One highly notable addition with this line is the trans-orange color that was first introduced in the CLIKITS™ line (not to be confused with the trans-flourescent orange used for the POHATU eyepiece, which glows under blacklight).

The smallest vehicle even transforms. Dubbed the Chill Speeder, it goes from something that looks like a cross between a racing speedboat and a snowmobile to some sort of small robotic walker.

The next biggest set has the most pronounced transformation, switching from a streamlined tread-driven ice-ski to a helicopter. This set includes a pair of ONUA NUVA QUAKE BREAKERS and a KOPAKA NUVA ICE BLADE in the new light-bluish grey.

Next up is the Tundra Tracker, which…well, it gets taller, and it has a small little ice block for imprisoning those pesky superspies when they’re getting in the way of a good wholesome world domination plan. Picking up the WHENUA drill in this set means you can now build WHENUA without actually owning the set (the only other BIONICLE® sets for which this is the case are TAHU, HUKI, and MACKU).

A two vehicle set pits the Blue Eagle against a Snow Crawler. The former switches from an airplane to a skied vehicle with an underslung cockpit, while the former has a small ejectable command sled. The Blue Eagle has two more ICE BLADES in light-bluish grey, and the Snow Crawler has a black POHATU NUVA KODAN CLAW.

The Mobile Command Center opens up to reveal a crane that can be used to hoist the message bricks into a mobile lab environment where they can be checked. Additionally, it has a working gun mounted above the cockpit, and two self-launching snow-skids that tuck in right between the cockpit and the main bay.

Ogel’s Mountain Fortress rounds out the lineup, with a giant skull-shaped base and a small Ice Drone vehicle. The gate opens when a small target above it is shot (how handy that the MCC has a working gun…), but this fortress is basically just a vertical wall. The good news is that it comes with six black TAHU flameswords, and, if you don’t have enough by now, two black ONUA claws.
